Monday, July 19, 2010

This write-up is about my short but interesting brush with a UK printing firm that required a freelance content writer for their printing press. Most of the work that I had undertaken so far was related to business writing and so when they asked me to write

Of course writing web content is easy, but creating slogans for every page of their stationary, that too within few hours was challenging.

Car Rentals Darling Harbour Australia

A SEO article on car rentals Darling Harbour Australia

There was a time when Darling Harbour was a thriving industrial port. It is now converted into a gigantic harbour-side leisure park that attracts families from around the country. Among its many interesting venues, best ones include Powerhouse museum, Sydney Aquarium, the Harbourside shopping complex, the Australian National Maritime Museum and the SeaWorld amusement park.

The infrastructure of the Darling Harbour park was modified in late 1980s when architects and visionaries combined their hands to give it a totally new look. It took a lot of labour, cash and politicking to give Darling Harbour the look it has today. Since the last two decades, the emphasis is on creating a place of unusual fun and enjoyment which is at the par with the international standards.

Dedicated to tourism and entertainment, Darling Harbour is ringed by pedestrian boardwalks by the sea. The walk from the Pyrmont Bridge is legendary as it is the only swing bridge crossing the inlet, thereby linking the two sides of the shore and forming a loop around the area. The area has been developed in such a way that it is virtually impossible for the tourists not to get impressed by its fantastic water views, parks and fountains. There is no dedicated place to swim but running under the fountain to wet yourself is acceptable on any warm day.

During the weekdays, you can hire a car and drive to Darling Harbour and visit its attractions, conventions and exhibitions. The real fun is one the weekend evenings when the parties don’t end and popular restaurants near water are jam filled with guest of all ages.

If you are planning for car rental and drive to Darling Harbour, check Google for best car rental deals. To reach Darling Harbour in your rental car, take the Harbour Bridge road from the north cross and move westwards till the Western Distributor and from there, the park is nearby. From the main city, drive till Market St (west) and follow the road signs to exit at Darling Harbour. If coming from the eastern or southern side of the city, take the Cross City Tunnel and follow the road signs to exit at Darling Harbour. There are many parking lots available at the park. For cheap car hire parking options, consider going to Ultimo. If interested in finding good deals, don’t forget to search for cheap car rentals and car rental discounts on the Internet.

Plagiarism in Essay Writing

Friday, June 11, 2010

As our society is progressing, so is the fall in ethics. People have become desperately attached to win-at-any-cost ethos. Sports personalities, politicians, professionals – no one is left untouched by this practice.

The cheating in essay writing has made its way in the education system as well. Gone are the days when essay writing was considered to be an art. Today, who likes to spend time in researching and presenting original ideas through essay writing when everyone knows the Internet can give them what they want at one fourth of the effort.

Almost in all the major British and American universities there has been a significant growth in the plagiarised cases detection across all faculties. Over the last five years or so, the changed outlook of students towards education in general and writing in particular has seen a significant tilt. Almost 90% students, though are honest in other dealings, are caught in the act of cheating annually.

The word plagiarism has its roots in the Latin plagiaries, referring to someone who has abducted a child, a kidnapper in other words. Today, in the world of essay writing the plagiarist is seen as someone who has snatched the work of someone else and given it its own name. Students sometimes commit plagiarism in essay writing by using the academic thinking of someone else without acknowledging. Other common methods include copying and downloading from net. There is also a trend of paying someone else for own essay writing, which is justifiable as long as the other party does not copy it from some other resource.

To find such a resource can be made easy from being tedious if you know where to search. The author is a seasoned writer who has written hundreds of essays, white papers, case studies for students and companies. She believes in creating documents that gently induce client’s personality in them. Although most of her work is covered under NDA, you can have a look at the some of the publically available writings here

The ScooterSafe Programme for Scooter Riders in London

Tuesday, April 27, 2010

This is a sponsored post written on behalf of Greater London Motorcycles Sales, dealers for Piaggio Scooters, Gilera Scooters and Vespa Scooters in London

The 2010 has started on a grim note for the scooter riders due to increase in road causalities involving them. London and its neighbourhood, including Edgware, has seen many riders meeting accidents by not following the road driving instructions carefully.

Keeping this in mind, the Transport for London has initiated a drive to educate scooter riders about road safety. The imitative, called ScooterSafe (http://www.scootersafe.org/) is aimed at helping the local residents become more confident while driving on the high traffic roads. Since most of the crashes occur when the rider is unable to control vehicle at a high speed, enrolling for a course at Scooter Safe will help riders gaining that confidence.

For all the new scooters’ owners in Edgware, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn the tricks of safe riding. With all the clocks set to routine adjustment and days growing lighter, more and more people are returning to streets to commute using the inexpensive yet efficient scooters. The longer days and warmer weather will encourage many scooter loving Londoners to take out their vehicles out on the road and zip around the Capital freely.

The much awaited ScooterSafe programme offers all the old and new scooter riders an opportunity to hone their riding and awareness skills. The training will enable them to be a safer scooter rider and therefore help in reducing the number of scooter riders getting killed or seriously injured.

Nearly 35,000 leaflets containing various details about scooter rider safety were distributed in the last week of March and so far, the response has been overwhelming. Many riders are approached by leaving credit-card sized information pack on their parked scooters. Initially the locations covered are Covent Garden, Pimlico, Liverpool Street and Camden.

If you are a resident of London, Edgware, Warwickshire Mill hill, Stanmore, Colindale, Bushey, Harrow Weald or Golders Green and looking to buy a new scooter, bike or two wheeler accessories, visit GLM Sales.

The Latest Gilera scooter in Edgware

Wednesday, February 10, 2010

This is the sponsored post written from GLM sales. This is a sponsored post written on behalf of Greater London Motorcycles Sales, dealers for Piaggio Scooters, Gilera Scooters and Vespa Scooters in London

Gilera, a well known brand from Piaggio, has launched its a all powerful 839 cc, 4 valves per cylinder scooter. This most powerful and fastest scooter comes with a twofold cradle steel frame and a chain final drive.

At Gilera, the year 2010 is officially dedicated to make its scooters modern and stylish. This approach can be seen in Gilera GP800 as well. It is not only more functional but also has elegant accents. Details like support device and the new saddle opening, a well-designed rug for the storage area under the seat and the new flexible combination further sing the praises of the convenience and comfort of the world's fastest scooter.

The power of Gilera GP800’s amazing 75 bhp engine is controlled by a fantastically firm frame that surrounds it and transmits it to the road by unique bodywork. This scooter offers all the comfort and convenience that an average Edgware inhabitant looks for. It is easy to manoeuvre and adds many folds to the stylish appeal of an individual.

By giving the performance of a true sports vehicle, it is the best transport to go around the city of Edgware. And when not in action, the Gilera GP 800’s uncompromising beauty simply radiates the power and technology with which it is made.

It is specially is designed for the rider who seeks complete practicality of a scooter but wishes for a aggressive performance that until now was possible only by riding a motorcycle. Even urban commuting has become a complete new, stimulating and enjoyable experience. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration saying that Gilera GP 800 can give an unbeatable usability of a scooter, by virtue of its elegant, chic and classical sporting lines, CVT transmission with lots of engine braking, perfect speed and the carrying capacity of a classic storage compartment under the seat.

However, like any other vehicle, the destiny of this Gilera will also be determined by its performance. It has extraordinary power and acceleration and so it’s only natural for us at Edgware to look beyond the horizon for satisfaction.

Get, Set, Go... Òn a Piaggio

Tuesday, February 9, 2010

The iconic Piaggio’s Gilera and Vespa scooter brands are known not only for the durability but also for their shapes and colours. Buzzing along the streets of London, Itlay and rest of the Europe, it’s not difficult to get impressed by Piaggio’s designs.

Nowadays, people don’t use Gilera or Vespa as a form of practical transport made to help them find their way safely around the roads dominated by potholes. Oh no. Today, in the year 2010, a Vespa is cherished the same way as the humble Beetle and Fiat 500. Many such older brands have been brought back to life through transformation. They are now the vehicles that wealthy keep, and of course drive (sometimes)! A modern Vespa or Piaggio London is a fashion accessory that cost as much as a suit made by Armani.

Innovation has always leaded the path of growth for Piaggio London. From the humble beginnings of 1940s to today’s international brand, Piaggio makes more than 650,000 vehicles in 50 countries. With its ideas, the new Piaggio has already begun spinning the wheel of future. Researchers are working on to make the scooters more environmentally friendly, green and electrically powered.

London Piaggio has found new markets that are ready to give their new styling a try. It is also giving a serious thought to manufacture electric city car. The question now is that whether Piaggio can create the same magic it created with its revolutionary Vespa?

Plans are on to make this electric city car as legendary as Vespa. The unit has already set up plants to produce this electric city car on large scale. We may have to wait for few more years to be actually able to drive Paggio’s newest invention but there is no doubt that ‘going green’ is high on agenda for most international brands.

A website, www.greenCar.com covers every latest happening in the world of hybrid cars, electric cars, alternative fuels, and much more. You can log on to know more about biodiesel, ethanol and cars powered by hydrogen. Green police all over the manufacturing world have already given “green” signal to Piaggio London’s latest entity, now let’s wait and see how consumers weigh it.

“Honey, I stretched the scooter”

Monday, February 8, 2010

This is a sponsored post written on behalf of Greater London Motorcycles Sales, dealers for Piaggio Scooters, Gilera Scooters and Vespa Scooters in London

Yes, we all are aware that our economy is not doing that well but there are some good things happening around. North West London families may find themselves going back to transportation options usually reserved for countries where people have time to enjoy life.

Like this – the Vespa GT4 400 – get ready for a LOOONG drive, literally. South African unit of Vespa has come up with a Vespa design that can carry not two but four people together to any place they want to go. The Vespa scooter, which may not be made available in anywhere else in the world, has two rear ends that are put one after the other. A Vespa North West London company calls it "an affordable family car that runs only on two wheels and your kids will eagerly wait for you to pick them after school on it. You can earn the title of designated driver and will get the liberty of parking outside the front door every time you hit a party or drop of your new buddies to their home and save money of fuel".

Now, isn’t this a cool idea!

A lot of people hated the new styled Vespa when they first saw it but the more they look or read about it now, the more badly they want to give it a spin. This is a very innovative marketing toy brainstormed by the marketing division of the Vespa’s South African setup. Andy Reid, the marketing head wanted to promote their brand name ‘Vespa’ using some off the beat ways, so he thought of placing fake parking tickets on fuel-gobbling, expensive vehicles for driving them instead of easy going scooters.

Whether those people were amused or not, we don’t know but your neighbours are definitely going to peek over to have a look at this Vespa. This so called “family” version of the iconic scooter brand is your sure shot fame to ticket if you can get a red carpet and a Gucci black jacket.

A Funny Contrast - iPad & Netbook

They don't say a picture is worth 1000 words just like that...

Why Do Companies Need a Professional SEO Content Writer?

Wednesday, January 27, 2010

I have been working as a SEO content writer for the last four years and nothing disappoints me more than SEO content written haphazardly. Usually I come across pages that have been written only to attract traffic but not to keep them enticed.

A simple question that every SEO content writer should ask himself or herself – even if I make people come to this site, how am I going to keep them hooked? Consumers have a lot of options and they don’t have time to read everything.

While it is true that world is a BIG place and there are many customers. So if one goes, another one would come and so, why should we, as a company, invest our resources on finding a good SEO content writer? Writing is all about placing matter from one page to another and even my techie guy can do it.

Well, your thinking can yield you good results only if you are deliberately trying to ignore the marketing trends of 2010. If your idea of doing business is to cater to your immediate neighbourhood and your extended family, then yes – even your brother-in-law can be the SEO content writer for your company.

The World Of Content Writing

Saturday, January 9, 2010

According to a recent survey published by Gartner, content writing has shaped the internet as we see today. It is true that there is a lot of content flowing freely on the net today, but only a tenth of this content writing is actually worth reading.

Content writing has evolved over last five years or so. Writing was considered to be a very exclusive domain earlier, but with the rise in internet boom content writing has taken a back seat. Today every web development company wants to do well, earn big bucks but when it comes to content writing, they just kill the whole essence of it. Writing for them is taking content from the net, changing some key phrases in it and publishing it again on the internet. More than half of them don’t like to add any originality to their work, and why should they when things are going well like this.

It is right that every organization wants to jump in the bandwagon of World Wide Web and to support them; there is a huge resource pool. Coding, designing and development of a website are mind blogging processes only if the developing company is using any mind for it. For making sure that a reader stays on the website long enough to understand what it is all about, every business needs good content. Content writing as an art requires words to be combined in such a manner which can hold the interest of a reader for a considerable amount of time.

Web writing, travel writing, blogging and all the subject specific writings are the integral part of content writing. While writing the content, the most important point to remember is that nothing can be written without knowing the target audience. At every step content writing requires creativity and vision. Writing in a talented way is not difficult if someone knows how to blend experience with originality. Words can be learnt and so can be content writing.

GLOBAL WARMING AND OUR WORLD

Wednesday, January 6, 2010

How to create awareness regarding global warming and what can we do to help reduce its affects?

The world we live in today, it is not difficult for anyone to get information on global warming and how is it affecting us. You can ask any kid and they will be prompt in replying that our climate is changing due to emissions of some harmful gases and this is global warming. The question here is: what are we doing at individual level to control global warming? Here are few pointers that should give you an idea of how you can help:

1. While driving, save fuel.
We all know that to drive, we need fuel and we are aware of the fact that it is non renewable. However, if we make a conscious effort of saving it by simple methods, such as vehicle maintenance, drive in an appropriate way and using public transport, our efforts will get counted in this global cause. So remember - till the time they do not make solar cars, use less fuel and contribute to reduce global warming.

2. Give recycling its due importance
More than half of what we throw can be used in some way or another – if only we know how. Do not print unless necessary, increase use of items made of copper, glass and aluminium and say NO to plastic for global warming. Do we need to tell everyone that plastic material does not decompose, it just chokes. Your country might be a developed one where you do not see mountains of plastic polybags but travel to third world countries and you will see where does all that plastic go.

3. Be vegetarian
This is for those who call non vegetarian food their weakness. Have you ever thought that by eating such a cuisine you are directly affecting our climate and causing global warming? How, do you want to know? By passing different kinds of gasses to our environment through your not so cooperative digestive system.

4. Opt for power saving appliances
Now this is the only thing that will cost you some money initially. Products that run on renewable resources generally cost more than the normal ones, like opting for solar heater instead of electric geyser – but you also know that the after some time what you will save through electricity bill would be more that the initial difference of buying such product. So why not make the right decision and purchase commodities that will have mean minimal expense later and support those fighting against global warming?

There are many sites on that give you an authority to decide a way which will prove beneficial for you as well as community. http://www.swisnic.ch/ is one such portal that operates with the hope of making the world a cleaner, better place to live. It provides indirect and tailored services tailored to energy solutions.
So from today, let us make a slight effort in ensuring that we keep our environment clean and healthy for the generations to come.
